The Tasmanian Fishermen's Memorial is located at Victoria Dock in Hobart.
The memorial commemorates the life of commercial fishermen who died at sea whilst on a commercial fishing trip in Tasmanian waters.
The structure is a curved celery top pine facing with a powder coated aluminum and stainless steel frame. Name plaques are laser etched discs that are embedded into the wood.
The names of those lost at sea are placed at random on the wood facing
